In a walking distance from the house and in the middle of this traditional village there is a nice tavern, a mini market, a butcher shop and a couple of traditional cafes, in Greek known as kafenios. The surrounding area is unique for nice walks. The distance to the tourist area of Amoudara is about 15 km where also is the beach and from Heraklion about 20km. In the advantages of the house is the short distance from the international airport of Heraklion , about 25 km. away and its location from where you can have as a base for many excursions to the west and the east of the island.
Villa Anatoli , is a newly built villa ,suitable for up to 12 people.It is situated in the village of Loutraki in Heraklion prefecture. It is situated on a hillside, in a quiet location, overlooking the valley of Krousonas with the small villages and the beautiful and un-spoilt countryside. The house consists of 3 levels. On the first level is the entrance, where is a nice living dining area, with traditional Cretan furniture, with a fireplace and a big screen satellite TV. Further on there are, an open plan and fully equipped kitchen and a bedroom with 2 single beds next to each other and can be used as a double bed, with en-suite shower/WC. All rooms have access to a large balcony with patio furniture and unique view. An internal marble staircase leads on the upper floor, where are three bedrooms, two of them with two single beds each and one with a double bed. In the same floor there is a shower/ WC. On the ground level there is another living area, with two sofas that can be turned into normal beds, with a billiard table and also satellite TV and a fireplace. Further on a second fully equipped kitchen, a bedroom with 2 single beds, a bath/WC with Jacuzzi and a utility room where is the washing machine. Both living room and bedroom have balcony doors, which lead to the pool area.
On the exterior of the villa there is a large swimming pool in a size of 50 sqm. Around the pool there are sun beds and umbrellas as well as patio furniture. Further more there is a barbeque area, with a stone made oven. A nice garden is around the pool area, with local herbs and wine grabs. A car is considered to be essential in order to be able and explore the area and the whole island. |
